We build brands people come back to.

Brand worlds, Shopify stores and Klaviyo email for product brands. One studio, one standard, from the first sketch to the next order.

02 · Marks

Every logo has a reason

The marks we have drawn, what each one means and how it was built. Every logo opens to show its construction.

Retour Labs logo

Retour Labs

Studio

Retour is French for return. The symbol is one r and the same r turned 180°, an open loop that comes back to where it started, because the studio exists to bring customers back. The last r of the wordmark is mirrored for the same reason.

Drawn on a 10 × 10 grid: stroke 1.4 units, shoulder radius 3, gap 1.2. The wordmark is Archivo Expanded, redrawn, set lowercase so the symbol carries the weight.

  • SymbolOne r, rotated 180°
  • TypeArchivo Expanded, redrawn
  • Colour#0D0D0D · #F2F1EE · #2240FF
SÉRAC logo

SÉRAC

Concept

A sérac is a tower of glacier ice. The symbol is a block of ice drawn in three faces with the seams left open where it fractures, and the top face carries the yellow of the golden eyelash viper the brand is built around.

An isometric cube on a 30° grid, split into three separate faces with an even gap. The wordmark is wide caps with the accent kept on the É.

  • SymbolSplit isometric block
  • TypeArchivo Expanded
  • Colour#F2D21A viper · #121314
KALD logo

KALD

Concept

Kald is Scandinavian for cold. The tag reads −40, the one temperature where Celsius and Fahrenheit meet, so it means the same thing everywhere the goggles go. The tag is drawn like a lens.

Extra wide caps so the name stretches like a goggle strap. The −40 sits in a rounded frame cut to the proportions of the lens, set in a lab mono.

  • Mark−40 lens tag
  • TypeArchivo Expanded · Plex Mono
  • Colour#1D51B0 azureus blue
VAERN logo

VAERN

Concept

Værn is Danish for protection. The mark is three lines of rain falling at an angle, the way it comes in off the North Sea, set beside tall condensed capitals that stand up to it like a coat collar.

Three identical parallelograms, evenly spaced, each leaning at the same angle. The wordmark is condensed caps with open tracking so it reads at the size of a woven label.

  • MarkThree lines of rain
  • TypeBebas Neue
  • Colour#2E3135 graphite · #F08AA0 accent
SALTE logo

SALTE

Concept

A mineral body wash named for salt. Salt grows as a perfect cube, so the full stop after the name became a single square grain, sitting on the baseline like a crystal left on skin.

Set in a wide geometric sans with open tracking. The square is 0.16 em, one tenth of an em clear of the E, and sits on the baseline.

  • MarkOne square grain
  • TypeUnbounded 400
  • Colour#1F3BD1 cobalt

04 · Process

How we work

Three steps. You always know what is happening and what comes next.

  1. Step 1

    Audit

A written read of your brand, store and email: what earns, what leaks, what to fix first.

  2. Step 2

    Build

We design and ship the fix, from a full brand world to new flows, checked before it goes live.

  3. Step 3

    Grow

Ongoing campaigns and creative, with a monthly report on what came back.
